Projects: Across the South West (Exeter to Bristol)
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 + Car Allowance + Pension + Private Healthcare + 26 Days Holiday

With projects typically valued between £5m and £20m, the business has earned an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality bridges, highways, infrastructure and heavy civils projects.

They’re now looking to recruit a Graduate Quantity Surveyor who is ready to put their studies into practice and begin building a successful commercial career. From day one, you’ll receive structured training, mentoring from experienced Quantity Surveyors and exposure to exciting live projects that will accelerate your development.

The Role

As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you’ll work alongside an experienced commercial team, gaining practical experience across every stage of the project lifecycle while developing the skills needed to become a successful Quantity Surveyor.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the commercial management of projects valued between £5m and £20m
• Assisting with cost reporting, forecasting and budget management
• Preparing valuations, variations and payment applications
• Supporting subcontractor procurement and account management
• Working closely with site and project teams to monitor commercial performance
• Producing commercial reports and financial information
• Developing strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors while learning industry best practice

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
• A genuine interest in civil engineering and commercial management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence (or working towards obtaining one)
