We are looking to procure a freelance “Sub Agent” for a water based civil engineering contractor, initially to be based on a site near Salisbury and oversee through it completion (approx. 6 months left). Following this, you’ll move onto another £30M scheme, close to Chippenham which will have about 18 months on
These projects will be for the Environment Agency so would be useful if you had some experience in the following:
- Flood alleviation Schemes
- Large RC structures – Bridges, Viaducts etc
- River rehabilitation
It’s and exciting project with lots of variety to keep you interested. We are looking for a freelance “Sub Agent” to support with the following:
- Management of a section of work
- Client meetings and liaison
- Management of key subcontractors
- Short term planning
- Health and Safety
- Management of engineers and foremen
- RAMS
The client will provide you will all Kit and Equipment and are looking to pay £375 – £400 per day (plus Holiday pay) depending on experience.
Applicants require a full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK
